The single story dwelling is supported by a low painted white concrete foundation, and its exterior walls are clad with painted grey horizontal wood siding. The house is covered by a low-pitched hipped roof, covered with grey asphalt composition shingles, and with painted white boxed eaves. There is no chimney. A single-light fixed-pane picture window penetrates the façade wall to the south of the entry door (west elevation). Elsewhere, the home's windows are entirely single and paired 2/2 double-hung sash, with painted white wood frames and surrounds, and with exterior metal storm windows. A painted white wood-paneled front door, with four very small centered upper sash lights, and covered by a white metal storm door, is located on the façade. This door leads into the house from a 2-step, 6' by 4', porch. The porch has a concrete floor, and is covered by a hipped roof with four slender painted white chamfered wood post supports. A painted white wood-paneled door, with four upper sash lights, and covered by a white metal storm door, leads into the house from a small 2-step concrete porch on the north (side) elevation.

Historical Background - Weld County Assessor records indicate that this house was built in 1949, while Greeley city directories reveal that it was initially occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Don J. Campbell in the early 1950s. The Campbells did not live here for long, however, as by 1954, this had become the residence of Harry B. and Muriel E. Johnson. The Johnsons then made their home there for nearly four decades, until the early 1990s. City directories suggest that Mr. Johnson may have passed away in the early 1970s, but that Mrs. Johnson continued to live on here for another two decades. From the early 1990s to the present (2006), the residence has primarily served as a rental. Occupants during these years have included: Shirley Wetherill (circa 1994); Jake Virden (circa 1998), and J. Shearer (2002). Steve Degenhart of Pueblo has owned the property from August 2002 to the present.
