Description - One-story rectangular commercial building with flat roof and banded cornice. Upper walls clad with stucco. Lower walls clad with square tan ceramic tiles. Horizontal course between upper and lower walls. Building divided into two storefronts sheltered by fabric awnings. Storefront to north has inset center entrance with metal frame glazed door flanked by two large plate glass display windows. Storefront to south has off-center inset entrance and one plate glass display window. Rear wall has two paneled doors sheltered by shed roof hoods.

Historical Background - This building was erected between 1918 and 1920, based on Sanborn maps and the 1920 Greeley City Directory. The 1918 map does not show the building, but the 1920 directory lists this address. The 1927 map shows the building (924-926) divided into two stores. The 1930 city directory indicates that 924 housed the Bakery De Lux, while 926 was the site of the Home Dairy Café. The 1940 directory indicates that the Morgenstern Supply Co. and Globe Truck Line were operating in 924, while the Home Dairy Café was still in 926. In 1950, 924 was the location of Auto Equipment Company and the Home Dairy Café was still in 926.
