Historical Background - Weld County Assessor records indicate that this house was built in 1948, and Greeley city directories indicate that by the early 1950s it was owned and occupied by the Willis C. Vandiver family. Reportedly totaling six family members in 1954, the Vandivers here through circa 1955. Donald E. Richmond and family were the property's next owners, residing here between circa 1956 and the early 1960s. Robert Allen Olson then owned and lived here in the mid-1960s, followed by Robert Picken in the late 1960s. At some point, the property was next acquired by Harold and Betty Law, who had it as a rental. They reportedly owned the John Deere dealership in Greeley, and perhaps also owned the house next door at 240110th Avenue Court.
